CP-03, CP-04 (Viaduct & Stations, Uttara-Agargaon)

Package CP-03 is for the construction of Viaducts and Elevated Stations from Uttara North to Pallabi.

Package CP-04 is for the construction of Viaducts and Elevated Stations from Pallabi to Agargaon.

The contract for these packages were awarded to Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited. The signing ceremony for these Contract Packages was held on May 3^rd, 2017 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. Mr. Mofazzel Hossain, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, and the authorized representative of Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited signed the contract on behalf of their respective companies. Road Transport and Bridges Minister Mr. Obaidul Quader, MP attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

Package progress in chronological order;

·Notice of PQ application of CP-03 & CP-04 were published on 30th June, 2015. The last date of PQ submission was 9th September 2015.

·A total of 35 (Thirty Five) PQ applications were sold and 6 (Six) PQ applications were submitted.

·JICA conferred concurrence regarding PQ Evaluation on 12th January, 2016.

·The PQ Evaluation Report was approved by the DMTCL Board on 2nd March, 2016.

·JICA's concurrence on Bid Documents were received on 17th April, 2016.

·The Bid Documents were sent to Pre-qualified Bidders on 20th April, 2016.

·The Bid submission date was 28th September, 2016.

·Three Tender proposals (Bids) were received on September 28th, 2016.

·The Financial Proposals were opened on December 11th, 2016.

·The TEC submitted its financial evaluation report on January 30th, 2017.

·DMRTDP requested JICA's concurrence on the TEC's financial evaluation report on January 30th, 2017.

·JICA conferred its concurrence on the financial evaluation report on February 12th, 2017.

·The activities of Pre-contract negotiation was carried out. The Minutes of Pre-contract Negotiation seeking JICA's concurrence was sent to JICA on March 23rd, 2017.

·The Contract Document was sent to the Ministry for vetting of the NBR and vetting of the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs on March 29th, 2017.

·The contract for these packages were awarded to Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited. The signing ceremony for these Contract Packages was held on May 3^rd, 2017 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

·The ground breaking ceremony for the construction works of elevated Viaduct and Stations of MRT Line-6 was inaugurated by Mr. Obaidul Quader, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges on 2nd August 2017.

The construction work commenced on 02 August, 2017 and it is expected to be completed in 1,127 days from the date of commencement.
