CP-08 (Rolling Stock & Depot Equipment)
CP-08 is for the supply of Rolling Stock & Depot Equipment of MRT Line-06. The contract shall be on design-build basis.
·The notice of PQ Application of CP-08 was published on 30 January, 2015.
·Thirty (30) PQ Applications were submitted and opened on April 21st, 2015.
·TEC evaluated all the PQ applications on May 28th, 2015.
·JICA's concurrence on PQ evaluation report was received on November 8th, 2015.
·JICA's concurrence on Bid Documents was received on November 11th, 2015.
·The Board of Directors of DMTCL approved the evaluation report on November 25th, 2015.
·The Bid was invited on 10 December, 2015.
·The Bid was opened on 09 August, 2016 by the Bid Opening Committee.
·TEC submitted its technical evaluation report on December 15th, 2016 and the report was sent to JICA for concurrence.
·JICA conferred its concurrence on November 28th, 2016.
·The technical evaluation report was approved in the meeting of the Board of Directors of DMTCL on December 19th, 2016. In the meeting, it was also decided to open and to evaluate the financial proposal.
·DMRTDP sought JICA’s concurrence on TEC's financial evaluation report. Thereafter JICA conferred its concurrence on the financial evaluation report on February 6th, 2017.
·After approval of the Board of Directors of DMTCL, and after completion of the Pre-Contract Negotiation Kawasaki-Mitsubishi Consortium was selected as the contractor for this package.
·The contract for CP-08 package was signed between Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited and Kawasaki-Mitsubishi Consortium on August 6th, 2017 at the Grand Ballroom of Pan-Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Mr. Obaidul Quader, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
The commencement of works is scheduled for 14th September, 2017
